GNR-MENA was granted the privilege of hosting an International AIDS Conference 2012 Hub for this year. The hub will allow our members and colleagues to be actively engaged in sessions of the IAC this year, offering them the opportunity to view recorded sessions, engaging in scientific discussions and debates in our online forum and sharing the knowledge.
The following hub locations are confirmed:
*1) Alexandria Regional Center for Women’s health and Development: The center shall be hosting experts and activists from Alexandria and surrounding areas during *24th and 25th of July.*
*2) UNAIDS Egypt :* UNAIDS has kindly adopted this initiative and disseminated it through its regional support team to all country offices in the region. UNAIDS Egypt country office is going to be hosting a conference hub to be based in Cairo on the *30th of July* .
*3) UN Women Egypt: *Sunday 29th of July with specific thematic focus on Gender and HIV.
Our Hub will allow those who cannot travel to the conference to still engage with the debates and material presented. We hope this arrangement will enrich the GNR-MENA discussion forums and lead to new ideas and recommendations.
